I was listening to loads of movie soundtracks lately, and I recall being in a CD ring with the exotica mailing list.

I made copies of these CDs a long time ago, but lost them in a flood.

There are lists of the discs people made. They are excellent - not just tiki / lounge, but some Electronica, "club pop" from the 90's, and somewhere in there is a great Ohio new wave mix.
