What about when the Dave Clark Five put out a single in 1964 called “Everybody Knows (I Still Love You)” and then n 1967 they put out another single called “Everybody Knows” which was an entirely different song, and both of them were hits.

Reparata and the Delrons have “In My Diary” (1965) and “Look in My Diary” (1966) – the latter of which is far superior (it’s one of the best songs evah, imo), but wasn’t released until the ‘90s.
