A favorite pairing, though with a misspelling: "Friends" by the Beach Boys, "Frenz" by the Fall.

Never listened to "Dark Star" b/c I hate the Grateful Dead. Heard it today, and it's all right! Then I discovered it's also a song by CS&N.— Tre Baker (@tre_baker) January 27, 2018

Listening to New Order's "Temptation" this morning I was struck by how similar and how different it is to Heaven 17's "Temptation".

What about when the Dave Clark Five put out a single in 1964 called “Everybody Knows (I Still Love You)” and then n 1967 they put out another single called “Everybody Knows” which was an entirely different song, and both of them were hits.

this blows my mind. one went to #37 and the other to #2! i wonder how many times it's happened?!
it's even mentioned in the wiki:
also known as "Everybody Knows (You Said Goodbye)", to avoid confusion with their 1964 song, "Everybody Knows (I Still Love You)."
lol

Reparata and the Delrons have “In My Diary” (1965) and “Look in My Diary” (1966) – the latter of which is far superior (it’s one of the best songs evah, imo), but wasn’t released until the ‘90s.
