I’m finding myself unable to care about literally anyone’s unsolicited opinion on anything.

I was waiting in my car the other day and I could hear some guy banging on about some opinion or other he had about the layout of the parking lot. I nearly got out & said “Nobody gives a shit what you think about this or anything” but then I figured discretion is the better part of not getting punched.

hardcore, I have some similar feelings— recently been finding myself disgusted at people who feel the need to share everything about themselves and their opinions on the internet. Truly glad that I still have the inner resources to not do that any longer, as I certainly used to be one of these people.

tbf I overheard the Kate Bush segment on BBC World News last night while puttering around, it went on seemingly forever and included an interview with the music supervisor on Stranger Things. I figured it would be a 10-15 second bit and was a little taken aback myself.

Tom D's post makes sense though I am in the UK and don't watch news on TV anymore so don't get the exposure. I think that's a plus for twitter where I get a sense of all the actual crises while keeping fluff like this to a minimum.
