I think you're going to love. They've kind of always sounded like a prog City of Caterpillar to me. they were a bit ahead of the game back in the 00's but now this type of extremely technical and ambitious emo/prog is bigger than ever. new album is also fantastic

Yeah, good stuff. It's cool how they bring in older prog sounds, especially the Genesis-style organs.

This month has been great with new emo/pop punk releases. I absolutely love the new Willow and Pinkshift albums, and I haven't even listened to the Tegan and Sara yet which I've heard good things about.

also new Pretty Sick album is fantastic! It's maybe more nu-grunge than emo but I think it suits this thread.
