Aw, Olive. Married for 40+ years to Terry Duggan, co-star from that show, who also has a credit as "ape attacked by panther" in 2001: A Space Odyssey.

he turned up on UK tv too and yeah he was great

oh damn! I remember seeing his first special on Comedy Central as a kid and I thought he was hilarious

that untitled amazing johnathan documentary was excellent, surreal to think that he finally passed away

Oh man, the hours I have spent reading her books to my kid. What a shame.

I could see the cogs really turning in F’s brain the first time I read him Dogger. It was a world he completely recognised - school fair, ice-cream van - and also a story about kindness, responsibility and little sacrifices. RIP Shirley Hughes.
