I was thinking earlier today how LeBron is a one-off. His combination of size, strength, amazing athleticism, intelligence, durability, and complete skill set is unique. From the look of it he could play another three or four years at a pretty high level, if he wants. I wish he wasn't so determined to be a multi-billionaire as his only visible ambition outside of playing hoops.

What ambition do you wish he had outside of playing hoops?

Kazaam 2

he pretty much just made kazaam 2 but it was the sequel to the bball player movie people actually like instead

hes been looking GREAT. honestly looks so much better than i could have ever hoped. really fun game. kuminga showed out. russ played pretty much exactly how they need him to play. lebron was uncharacteristically bad in the 4th q.
― Spottie, Sunday, 13 February 2022 06:45 (two years ago) link
i’m mostly wondering how he’s gonna hold up on defense in the playoffs. obviously his ability to release threes quicker than anyone in the league is still intact, and it seems like he’s been doing enough damage inside the arc to keep teams honest
― J0rdan S., Sunday, 13 February 2022 08:41 (two years ago) link
injuries piling up for the bulls, kinda didnt believe in them anyway, but they are in danger
Chicago Bulls All-Star guard Zach LaVine will travel to Los Angeles to see a specialist for his left knee early this week, sources tell ESPN. LaVine has been dealing with recurring discomfort and will get further evaluation. He’s still planning to participate in All-Star Weekend.— Adrian Wojnarowski (@wojespn) February 13, 2022

why is he still planning to participate in all star weekend…
― J0rdan S., Sunday, 13 February 2022 16:33 (two years ago) link
Bulls have been terrible against good competition. Even fully healthy I don't think they have enough to truly contend.

the bulls have the 13th best net rating and are down to 19th in defensive rating which def puts them pretty far outside contender status as far as we understand it but i do think having two individual scorers as good as derozan and lavine does make them slightly dangerous in the playoffs
― J0rdan S., Sunday, 13 February 2022 18:03 (two years ago) link
Jokic got over quick for that block!

if the 8 east playoff teams end up coming from the group of miami, milwaukee, chicago, philadelphia, cleveland, brooklyn, toronto, boston, and atlanta i don’t think there will be a single bad east playoff series

Suns are going to have a pretty easy road.
Seems like for most of a decade whichever team came out of the east had a virtual cakewalk to the Final, while the west team had been battered in at least two hard-fought series. This would be an interesting turnabout.
― more difficult than I look (Aimless), Monday, 14 February 2022 03:07 (two years ago) link

its a real injury?
The Sixers say James Harden is out through the All-Star break as he continues to rehabilitate his left hamstring, and that he won’t play in the All-Star Game.— Tim Bontemps (@TimBontemps) February 14, 2022
― lag∞n, Monday, 14 February 2022 18:14 (two years ago) link
it was a hamstring in the playoffs last year right? i kind of assumed it was real because if you're going to make up a fake injury just do something that doesn't suggest a chronic issue.
― call all destroyer, Monday, 14 February 2022 18:20 (two years ago) link
oh please they’re running cover for him by letting him miss 2 games before the break
― J0rdan S., Monday, 14 February 2022 18:24 (two years ago) link
i mean obvs nothing is too weird for james harden but taking a vacation immediately upon forcing a trade to a new team would be pretty weird
― lag∞n, Monday, 14 February 2022 18:27 (two years ago) link
the nets TV commentators were saying during the heat game on saturday that seth curry & drummond would’ve been available except there was an unexplained “delay” in getting harden’s physical done in order to complete a trade, the implication being something nefarious was happening in order to further screw the nets lol. the relationship between these two teams moving forward should be very fun

jordan otm. another week to lose a couple more lbs too
― Spottie, Monday, 14 February 2022 18:50 (two years ago) link
Harden is supposedly not limited at practice, so I am not worried. I’d also rather he have the ASG break to heal aka party.
― removing bookmarks never felt so good (PBKR), Monday, 14 February 2022 18:57 (two years ago) link
