Just watched a clips vid on YouTube which featured Grayson shoving a guy for setting a screen on him, then later taking a full hard swing at the guy from behind during a shot attempt. He was ejected.

i think he could prob do both. officially claim it’s mental health while leaking out thru sources the “real” reason why. this stuff about them not visiting him in LA or how embiid blamed him but he never blamed embiid for playing poorly vs the raptors makes it look like he’s grasping at straws when a good reason for him to hold out is right there

the problem is that they already botched it. they didn't start with the mental health thing or a harden/butler "show up but be unpleasant" approach. they started with an NFL-style holdout, which failed as anyone who knows how the nba works could have predicted. so now the mental health aspect has no credibility even if it *should* have some--it was like the third tactic they tried once they realized the sixers weren't going to trade him or pay him.

now we can all enjoy the escalating messy drama as the trade deadline approaches

book got tagged as an empty points guy early in his career, which IMHO is unfair

yeah he clearly proved hes more than that over the years and washed it away completely last season. his defensive improvement is good to see. he moves without the ball and is unselfish. maybe its just cos hes one of those fundamental gets-to-his-spots mid-range-y guys and rarely makes any highlight reels? i mean the two biggest things hes know for over the last couple years is being mad he got doubled in a pickup game and getting mad at a dinosaur mascot.
