calling john wall an average to above average player is reeeeeeeeeeeeally a stretch for me, at best

his numbers from 20-21 aren't awful! shooting isn't great, i don't think it ever was for him, but, what was it, like 21-6-3? but tbf he was playing on a bottom-feeder for 40 games before the all-star break and i definitely wasn't watching 2021 houston rockets games so i have no idea about the eye-test

we really dont know what he is any more, they played him for a bit then shut him down. he may not be able to pass a physical at this point

physically speaking wall def looked better than you would expect for a guy of his age coming off of his leg injuries but statistically he wasn’t a very effective player, i would rather bet on westbrook figuring something out than bet on wall to stay healthy and give you something above and beyond what russell has been

They could've signed some random guy like Gary Payton 2 and kept Kuz and Montrez

the funniest detail about the lakers offseason was their total refusal to put THT in any deal and now theyre trying to trade him and no one cares

i watch him and i really don't understand what exactly he is supposed to be good at

they could've signed caruso too they're just cheap

the caruso thing is really just egregious, all they need is a PG who can play defense and make an open three. he played crunch time minutes for them on a title team and they were just like, yeah sorry we can't do $9 mill a year for you see ya later.

why have the kings not traded harrison barnes and richaun holmes, hoarding quality vets

seems like the optimistic case for the wiz assumed that beal and dinwiddie would be good and they would figure it out around them with a bunch of depth and youth, and instead both those guys have kind of sucked.

very smooth and controlled player, fun to watch

his numbers if you remove the first month of the season have started to look really nice. pull up threes and extending out his range feel like the keys to me or else he prob settles into the 19-9-7 range which is obv still great but i think also means detroit is still looking for a true no 1 star. it’s hard to get a handle on his projection bcuz the physical tools don’t pop but the speed with which he plays the game is pretty unique, seems very under control, for a PG his age that has to be encouraging. if he could get to darius garland shooting range/scoring numbers with everything else then i think you start to have a pretty scary player
