Austin Churton Fairman (15 November 1924 – 4 April 1997), who used the name Churton Fairman but was more widely known under the pseudonym Mike Raven in the 1960s and early 1970s, was a British radio disc jockey, actor, sculptor, sheep farmer, writer, TV presenter and producer, ballet dancer, flamenco guitarist and photographer.

This guy obviously could never make up his mind what to do with his life.

the amount of detail going into Kreayshawn's attempts at completing high school always caught me as "who asked?"

At the age of 13, Natassia enrolled at MetWest High School, which she described as a "new alternative type of high school". Instead of having the usual classes, such as English and mathematics, she had to take an internship at a local radio station three days a week. She was dissatisfied with the lack of work and wanted to go to a normal high school, so she switched to Oakland High School. However, according to Kreayshawn, she "went to none of her classes, ever" at her new school, which led to her finishing the term with a 0.0 grade point average and getting expelled for truancy. After taking a short break, she went to Alameda High School but after a few months she was expelled. After the incident, she then enrolled in the continuation high school, Island High, where she then completed her second year. While attending, she again began skipping school for weeks on end. After two weeks, she returned to find out the school moved to a different location. Since she had no address or any contact with the school she was unable to find the new location and never went back.

Initially, the band went out on tour in December 2003 under the name "The Jon Oliva Project", but this was later changed to "'Tage Mahal". The band's name was changed after discovering the blues musician Taj Mahal.

Sooo it turns out that a single Canadian user has generated a massive volume of edits related to Toby Keith music videos and chart performance; and that this user's corpus includes many baffling instances of surreally warped syntax like this:

Amy Weber, a WWE Diva, appeared in the music video, which was directed by Michael Salomon. The video premiered on CMT on March 27, 2004, during CMT 3rd Shift. In the music video, Weber was in an auto mechanic suit, and then she took off her auto mechanic mask, and suit, and her belly button was shown attached by piercing jewelry, and then she goes with a man to a bar, and giving her a bottle of whiskey.

mark s, Friday, 28 January 2022 13:19 (two years ago) link

The music video for the song begins with a man playing the piano at a bar. Scenes also feature Keith singing the song in his bedroom, and himself at a bar with a woman, who is feeling bad for her, as the man gets up and leaves the bar.

The video shows him having trouble getting rid of the note, but being unable to let go of her memory. Because of this, he is having trouble focusing at work, and an inkblot test at his psychiatrist shows up. Leading to him running a cliffside, he is actually taking the big blue note by folding into a paper airplane, and throws the big blue note off the cliff. The scene switches from a rainy day to a bright sunny day, as the businessman plays the banjo.

Nice find, Bernard!

It features a young man speaking with an older woman (Tané McClure) cleaning up the party. An obvious friendship is shown from her thankfulness for his aid. In the same respect, he kisses her on the cheek, uncertain of any other way to thank her for all she has done for his family. The unexpected kiss leads to a chain of events from dancing, to mutual sadness as the late night ends knowing he must leave for college the next morning, to his unexpected return which brings out passion between them. In stark contrast to the emotions of the lyrics, a surprise ending reveals that the entire video was a daydream. It is brought to an abrupt halt as she shoves a bag full of garbage in his arms to throw away as he leaves and gives him a tactless tug and pat on his cheek wishing him luck.

Other changes appear to be editorial decisions, such as the spelling of "goodbye" without the "e", also not found in the earlier texts. In volume two, the second book in the four-part Tschai, Planet of Adventure series, Servants of the Wankh is re-titled The Wannek (conforming to the two-word new titles of the other books), and the name changed throughout, due to an unfortunate association of the original name with a vulgarity found in British-origin slang. It is not exact (you must remove the "h") and anyway has no relevance to the story so the association soon fades, even for those cognisant of the word.

He was a child prodigy and had finished most of his high school curriculum by the end of third grade, before being restricted to studies at his own grade level beginning in fourth grade.[7] In 1973, with the help of the ACLU, he became the first US student ever to be awarded money damages from his principal and school board, in Bexley, Ohio, for violating his freedom of speech by sending him home for wearing a black armband on the second anniversary, in 1972, of the Kent State shootings.
