not sure if KId Congo will have his memoir sorted by then sounded like it was well underway.
I think JLP's Go Tell the Mountain became available again too btw
Angela Saini's book on patriarchy will probably take longer too but whenever that appears I'll read it.
Not sure what timeline for Mike Stax book on Gabor Szabo is.
yeah really not sure what is due to drop next year just that there area few things being worked on that are due to drop in the not too distant future

Looking frwd to the sequel to "I Am Pilgrim" NOT coming out again.
Haha, same. For a page-turning, movie adaptable book, sure Hayes is getting a ton of pressure to follow it up. Had to check if there was a movie coming from the first, and looks like it's in pre-production.. Hayes is listed as screenwriter, which maybe accounts for the book delay. From the Goodreads comments on his _The Year of the Locust_, a quoted interview from six (!!) years ago:
"EC: Can you give us a heads up about your next book?"
"TH: Because I had no guarantees or expectations for I am Pilgrim to be successful I decided to write a stand-alone novel, The Year of the Locust. It should be out in eighteen months and is centered on cloaking technology, where objects appear invisible even though they are really there. There is a lot of research being done on this by the military. I would describe it as “Planet of The Apes” meets “Lost,” or “Star-Trek” like.
After this book the second book of the Pilgrim series will be out. In this book Pilgrim establishes a relationship. The third book has someone attacking him. He must pretend to be dead, even to the one he is in love with, to find out who killed him. I promise the readers that with these two books they will learn everything about Pilgrim they were afraid to ask. If the series is successful I might continue the adventures with future books."
William Gibson, Haruki Murakami - if they have anything scheduled, will buy. Felt the same, re: sliding release dates, for Gibson's "Agency", which finally came out a few years after its announcement.
