Part of it is that Tim Robinson's brain operates on a slightly different comedic wavelength than the wavelengths I'm familiar with so it took me some time to reconfigure my own brain accordingly. Like I watched the first episode when the series was initially released and the toilet paper sketch just kept going on and on, creating this needlessly and increasingly convoluted uncomfortable situation, and I just figured that it was a matter of the premise shooting past his intentions and landing with a thud. And now I realize that that vibe is pretty much precisely what he's going for more often than not.

one comedy device I love is when someone goes on Fiverr and hires someone to dress like a newscaster or doctor or whatever and read something absolutely insane, presumably with no context on what its gonna be used for. I dont know why but this is always funny.
