my wife has taken the mystery out of the Googler tendency to address the artist under discussion: she says it's that the Googler believes he/she is signing a guestbook. While this explanation makes perfect sense, it has depressed me, because I was heretofore delightfully mystified by the way Googlers consistently speak directly to the artist.

Did everybody else already have this one figured out?

plus, while the original is not bad and certainly does no damage to chocolate factory (the bass is a little slappy though) the remix comes in and just sucks you in with that understated sway. oh and the finger snapping! and r.'s split-second marvin impression.
