cashman is very clearly constrained by a stingy (by yankees standards) front office, but he's been pretty excellent for 20+ years.
#3 is obviously not gonna happen, i think maybe those twitter fans think that analytics were behind boone's weird bullpen decisions or the fact that they would never ever start all their best players in the lineup at once, resting starters willy nilly and willfully hobbling themselves into truly pitiful record in day games.

i didn’t think sending judge was so terrible. it took two perfect throws, judge still almost slid by, and the next guy up (gallo) could not be counted on to put the ball in play

they played great. the pitching was incredible. no matter what happens with tampa bay that was a great game.

yeah i've barely watched this team for a variety of reasons but i did sit down and watch this game with intent and it was great to see an end-to-end ass kicking. there's a weird genre of baseball game where the score doesn't reflect the fact that one team dominated the other and this was a great example.
