shirt jackets!

yeah great pockets for hands. there has been a guitar pick in one of the chest pockets for like the last two years and i always forget it's there. when i notice it it makes the shacket feel that much cooler

Would love this Todd Snyder chore coat.

I bought three fairly cheap ones from TK Maxx in blue, brown and white. Wear them all the time, sometimes with a roll neck sweater underneath although I'd like to find a better one than the one I already have

Haha yeah it does make me feel a bit sick in my mouth when I see a £350 shacket described as a "chore jacket" or whatever

My look for the winter. My hand is in the way but I'm wearing a cheap H&M roll neck which I plan to upgrade at some point to a nicer fit and colour

What one

I had this great garment I bought in the 2nd hand clothing shop in Clapham that was like a button down shirt at the collar and had a bottom that seemed a lot more like a jeans jacket, I don't think I've ever seen another like it. Have thought of trying to create something more like it. Think it was pretty light but that bottom was weird for a shirt. Including the side jacket waist adjustment tabs you get on the back of jeans jackets and a waist band strip so I don't think it would tuck into trousers easily. Fabric a lot more shirtish than external jacket .

Unfortunately it was in a bag that I lost while interailing in mid 85. So can't check to see if it had labels or anything, whether it was a mass made thing or more bespoke or smaller boutique level numbers of production.
