"Take Me With U" was narrowly eliminated from my 10 - it's been my favourite 80s Prince track for a while.

Don’t Give Up almost made my top ten. It is a definite classic but partly it was attractive as a way to knock out two of the preeminent artists of the decade. Given more space I’d probably pick Mercy Street and Breathing for the individual artists (excluding Kate songs that have already been selected).

And now I have realized that Erotic City is objectively superior to Break 4 Love so I would like to amend my selections to reflect that substitution.

I should give Take Me With U another listen.
