tarkowski is vile. and the ref wants sacking for not deeming that assault on richarlison card worthy.

Still completely mystified that ASM wasn’t bought by someone better this summer.

Excellent goal today.

Scampo di tutti i Scampi (ShariVari), Friday, 17 September 2021 19:57 (two years ago) link

Missed the goal but yes re: being bought, I wonder if there's a Traore syndrome element to that like suspicion that he's not a complete package

I love him.

He does sometimes drift out of games and half the stuff he tries might not come off, but there aren’t that many players in the league who can do what he does. I guess he has had a run of injuries, though.

Coaches of top teams think their systems are more important than players doing damage

Leeds keeper looked dodge to me

Wolves ay we! lord I woke up at 7:30 am on a weekend for this so better be good lol.

Brentford's story is an interesting one, no?

Wolves looking dominant again, so I'm assuming 3 points for Brentford

The Speak Of The Mearns (Jonathan Hellion Mumble), Saturday, 18 September 2021 11:41 (two years ago) link

lol

Jimenez tackling himself was humorous.

want him to get his goal today so badly.

you had me at "giallo" (Neanderthal), Saturday, 18 September 2021 11:43 (two years ago) link

I just looked up Ivan Toney's age to decide which "bigger" club would buy him... 25? so, Everton or Soto next season I guess

The Speak Of The Mearns (Jonathan Hellion Mumble), Saturday, 18 September 2021 11:47 (two years ago) link

£25m player in the current market, actually maybe £30m

The Speak Of The Mearns (Jonathan Hellion Mumble), Saturday, 18 September 2021 11:51 (two years ago) link

Janelt looks like German Andy Samberg

Marcal what the fuck are you doing

you had me at "giallo" (Neanderthal), Saturday, 18 September 2021 11:57 (two years ago) link

clear pen

oscar bravo, Saturday, 18 September 2021 11:57 (two years ago) link

Through the middle seems to be the promising area for Wolves, stop with the wing shit there's a guy constantly stood there

The Speak Of The Mearns (Jonathan Hellion Mumble), Saturday, 18 September 2021 11:57 (two years ago) link

Ok my steam just got to that, yeah clear pen

The Speak Of The Mearns (Jonathan Hellion Mumble), Saturday, 18 September 2021 11:58 (two years ago) link

that's on you Marcal. thanks for that.

yeah agreed.

you had me at "giallo" (Neanderthal), Saturday, 18 September 2021 11:59 (two years ago) link

tho week one tarkowski plowed over maupay in the box from a corner and that was deemed okay. advantage to the attacking team i guess.

wolves shook.

oscar bravo, Saturday, 18 September 2021 12:00 (two years ago) link

oh for fuck's sake. how did he miss that

you had me at "giallo" (Neanderthal), Saturday, 18 September 2021 12:04 (two years ago) link

this is ridiculous

you had me at "giallo" (Neanderthal), Saturday, 18 September 2021 12:05 (two years ago) link

this is literally a repeat of the Orlando City - Montreal disaster of Wednesday.

Toney is just working Wolves rn.

you had me at "giallo" (Neanderthal), Saturday, 18 September 2021 12:06 (two years ago) link

Just draw a line across the Brentford back line on Wolves attacks, beautiful. Now do the same for the Wolves defence, what the fuck is that crooked shit?

The Speak Of The Mearns (Jonathan Hellion Mumble), Saturday, 18 September 2021 12:15 (two years ago) link

sometimes it hangs a little to one side in the morning

you had me at "giallo" (Neanderthal), Saturday, 18 September 2021 12:16 (two years ago) link

Having watched every Wolves game (oh except that one they won) thus far, this is the first where they are deservedly losing. Having watched very little of Brentford they don't look all that, easily beatable

The Speak Of The Mearns (Jonathan Hellion Mumble), Saturday, 18 September 2021 12:23 (two years ago) link

glad to see the halftime speech motivated them

you had me at "giallo" (Neanderthal), Saturday, 18 September 2021 12:36 (two years ago) link

Aggravating that the best Wolves player so far today is playing for Sheff U

that which does not chungus makes us chonger (Noodle Vague), Saturday, 18 September 2021 12:46 (two years ago) link

Having never seen Hwang before yeah I like him. Also apparently Traore has been on the pitch this whole match, who knew?

The Speak Of The Mearns (Jonathan Hellion Mumble), Saturday, 18 September 2021 12:50 (two years ago) link

well this certainly helps matters

you had me at "giallo" (Neanderthal), Saturday, 18 September 2021 12:54 (two years ago) link

Pontus Jansen, big hard man iirc. Eh...

The Speak Of The Mearns (Jonathan Hellion Mumble), Saturday, 18 September 2021 12:58 (two years ago) link

Brentford could go down to eight men and I’m not sure I’d bet on Wolves scoring.

Scampo di tutti i Scampi (ShariVari), Saturday, 18 September 2021 13:07 (two years ago) link

Kostas starts for Liverpool, good. Milner at RB, yeah I love him but maybe not drop both fullbacks in the same match?

The Speak Of The Mearns (Jonathan Hellion Mumble), Saturday, 18 September 2021 13:15 (two years ago) link

dreadful match. and it all started with Marcal's boneheaded decision in the box. prior to that Brentford had been building a little momentum but the life just went out of the building after that.

you had me at "giallo" (Neanderthal), Saturday, 18 September 2021 13:20 (two years ago) link

Jimenez HEADGAURD OFF! Serious bisnes now...

The Speak Of The Mearns (Jonathan Hellion Mumble), Saturday, 18 September 2021 13:24 (two years ago) link

Welp

The words "absolute dogshit" spring to mind

that which does not chungus makes us chonger (Noodle Vague), Saturday, 18 September 2021 13:28 (two years ago) link

Lol at us ending up playing 2-2-6 and still couldn't score against 10 men

that which does not chungus makes us chonger (Noodle Vague), Saturday, 18 September 2021 13:28 (two years ago) link

Well again, first match they deserved to lose. Sort it out up front ffs

The Speak Of The Mearns (Jonathan Hellion Mumble), Saturday, 18 September 2021 13:28 (two years ago) link

Yer man Fabio maybe deserves a start?

The Speak Of The Mearns (Jonathan Hellion Mumble), Saturday, 18 September 2021 13:35 (two years ago) link

Hard to say. I feel like
Raul has always been streaky in terms of goals but he adds a lot of other attributes to the side. I'm not a 442 fan but the time might be approaching, in a front 2 you'd think either Hwang or Fabio starts alongside Raul

that which does not chungus makes us chonger (Noodle Vague), Saturday, 18 September 2021 14:11 (two years ago) link

Liverpool not looking great, thank fuck it's Benteke out there, Eduoard would be skinning them

The Speak Of The Mearns (Jonathan Hellion Mumble), Saturday, 18 September 2021 14:58 (two years ago) link

Leon Bailey’s on fire.

Scampo di tutti i Scampi (ShariVari), Saturday, 18 September 2021 18:04 (two years ago) link

Terrific purchase for Villa.

Scampo di tutti i Scampi (ShariVari), Saturday, 18 September 2021 18:04 (two years ago) link

Yeah that was a second half and then some.

Ned Raggett, Saturday, 18 September 2021 18:31 (two years ago) link

Astonishing Everton defending for the Bailey goal. There was a heat map shown at half time which showed there was a huge gap in that inside left channel so I’m surprised how much space there was for Bailey, I thought (possibly erroneously) that Rafa is the sort of manager who would obsess over that kind of detail.

Bailey looks like the new hero though for sure, I hope that was only a precautionary change rather than anything longer term. Felt like the post-grealish era getting up and running in the second half, fingers crossed

Off to watch them at Stamford Bridge on Weds, no great hopes because Chelsea’s second team is still a top 4 contender so even if they rotate I think we’ll be outmatched. But yeah that was fun, this is fun, there’s clearly enough there for a really good season. Deano just needs to work out how to bring it all together

Windsor Davies, Saturday, 18 September 2021 18:43 (two years ago) link

good game that, pen decisions were some bullshit though

primate marmite (NickB), Sunday, 19 September 2021 14:56 (two years ago) link

not sure why chelsea arent mixing it up by going long to lukaku instead of passing it out from the back all the time. do look v likely in transition tho.

is mendy injured?

oscar bravo, Sunday, 19 September 2021 15:48 (two years ago) link

Yep, injured against Zenit, though not too seriously.

This is a good game so far.

Scampo di tutti i Scampi (ShariVari), Sunday, 19 September 2021 15:54 (two years ago) link

According to My Mother he took a knock in the Zenit match
