Fell off the wagon for six weeks and was creeping close to a pack a day again, got back on via Juul, now to ditch the Juul.

I think someone posted on the vaping thread that one of the downsides of it is that the less harsh on your lungs delivery system makes it very easy to become a major nicotine fiend. If I was trying for same amount of nicotine I've became accustomed to from vaping it would probably take about 25/30 cigarettes a day to match it.

I was only a smoker when I drank but like some people have said, I could smoke a packet of tobacco in a weekend if the opportunity presented itself. I properly quit about 10 years ago now and have only been back a couple of times. Last time I had a roll-up after a few beers, I threw up in a pub car park, then again when I got back to my wife's parents' - in the mother-in-law's water feature. That was a definitive end to that.

in the mother-in-law's water feature

not a euphemism.

I smoked from 17-34, with some notable breaks. Was never more than a pack/day, usually more like half a pack.

And so here is where I say that even after surviving stage IIIb cancer, I will occasionally buy myself a loose Newport from the corner store and delight in it. Probably once every few months.
