idk sometimes that kind of thing doesnt matter to me and sometimes it does ... kind of cool in the abstract imo but the execution, hard for me to totally get on board

Really feel like JLC's mid-00s sound hit its peak with the Sorry remix (and this is a more controversial statement then it sounds given how many amazing tracks he produced/remixed in that era) - the groove really sounds like this massive wave crashing over your head and engulfing the dancefloor.

"Hung Up" was the biggest song when I was finally old enough to get into nightclubs. It was played at dance clubs, at gay clubs, at student nights, just everywhere, and it never failed to make me happy. I love both these songs in different ways and for different reasons but I think Madonna is always going to win just for the emotional resonance in my nostalgia.
