it is amazing how many of these big remixes of that time hex hector had a hand in, another huge classic on that level being his mix of deborah cox's "nobody's supposed to be here"

The Ewan Pearson mix is absolutely great and successfully builds on everything that was good about the original - but it also very much retains the cadence and feel of that original too. What I particularly like about that Timo Maas one is that it goes...off-script somehow in an unsettling way, especially around the 4 minute mark. I think it's a very interesting path to take those overfamiliar vocals and chord progression along.

feel like my antipathy toward taylor swift is pretty weak since i've quickly warmed up to this song thanks to this jayda g remix. ugh it makes me so happy that jayda g is remixing big pop releases now.
