weirdly, Evelyn’s “Love Come Down” didn’t chart in the Netherlands, but the song went top 5 the next year in a reggae version by Barry Biggs (whose splendid "Wide Awake in a Dream" I only discovered last week):

I discovered “I Just Gotta Have You (Lover Turn Me On)" when Kashif died. Wonderful.

"Hold On" was a big hit in Canada due to being an Ian Thomas cover (thus eligible for Canadian content airplay). America's follow-up to "You Can Do Magic", "Right Before Your Eyes", was also an Ian Thomas cover.
