that lionmilk quartet sounds nice but I’m not sure how I feel about dilla-esque live drumsYeah “low-passed” is otm wrt to JCK’s appeal to me, it’s smooth but not shiny I guess… subtle, no bright brass, no sax (plenty of other woodwinds).
