well, our friends in the Democratic party usually lead the war on christmas every year. that's Pelosi's big thing as i recall. but we could certainly bring it up during the next Democratic Leadership/Antifa meeting, coming up on last Thursdays of each month

Andy, I think you might want to check in with the Munitions Working Group. Their meetings are on the 2nd and 4th Mondays. Their meetings are more like work parties, so dress accordingly. I think they normally order vegan pizza and they get coffee from that place that refused to serve cops.

Another announcement -- anyone who wants to join the Dismantling the Patriarchy Working Group, they need members, especially cis-males who are comfortable with kneeling and scrubbing floors.

All this talk about 'fundraising' and 'street markets' makes me kinda wonder which side some of you are on

The street market supports families of victims of the carceral state as well as raising money for bail funds for those who remain in jail because they can't afford cash bail. Also, products for sale at the street market are priced according to the relative oppression status of the purchaser. White people are charged more than BIPOC.

“If we actually intended to take over the Capitol, we’d have taken it, and we’d have brought guns,” Rhodes said at a rally in late March. “That’s not why we were there that day. We were there to protect Trump supporters from antifa.”

now, i remember that day. i remember being in the washington DC hills with our muskets, preparing to charge. even our dogs were angry. goddamn, it was sad to see my dog so angry. that is not how i raised her. but these are troubled times. but i do not remember threatening trump's patriots that day, in person. i just remember getting ready to do it, spinning those wheels and throwing up dust and posting about it

Would anyone like to rotate tasks for our next meeting? Anyone who prefers to be a convener lmk ASAP. I of course am white so I'm available to do all the things no one else wants to do unless you love taking notes in which case please rescue me from electronic documentation hell.

Also I move that we block out a series of 10 meetings in the next quarter to go over bylaws--I know everyone hates bylaws but when our community political education working group is split on whether to partner with that one city agency, you'll be glad we specified organizational practices for non consensus-based decision making.

Also also if a meeting takes place at a meal-time we need to commit to feeding people. Bio needs are real! Speaking of which please turn your cameras on and interact with other attendees in the chat box but also attend to your bio needs, hopefully not at the same time (but no judgement).
