I think the story is pretty mild as far as rachel nichols specifically goes — I agree with CAD — but ESPN’s handling of it was telling. and I really just wanted to lol at scab deadspin

The design is fine, could be a lot worse. Scrolling down and seeing the first three (non self-congratulatory) stories being a creepy pap shot, Bieber's relationship status and Chrissy Tiegen's real estate deals proves that this is going to be a thing that is very much not for me. But, hey, I'm sure the need for clicks is real.

Not that the gossip rag stuff is new at all, but it seemed a little less prominent before? Or maybe I'm just misremembering.
