I for one love the styling. Love the feel. But they really have an arrogant boomer thing about them. Extremely white-guy. Nevertheless lately I've been tempted to get a pair, haven't had a 99x in about 15 yrs.

i had a pair but they were hand me downs. i wore them for a few months anyway, until a hole appeared at the bottom. i hated them and myself the entire time

i notoriously have no shoe style, though. i prefer bare feet, and i think 99.99999999999% of every runners shoe of all time is ugly

thanks for the rec trace, I actually like the look of that pair! but I’m more of a black and grey guy, idk, maybe I will branch out some. I need to go to a shoe store and talk to a shoe guy and have him look at my feet (in a normal way!) and say “here’s your problem, pal” bc my feet are definitely very weirdly shaped and I’ve only started running recently

anyways i went on down to the shoe store and talked to some guys and bought the suacony ride 14 which is not a very cool or pretty shoe but man does it feel good in stride. was told it was a good for beginners type jack of all trades running shoe and so this is what i wear now! love shoes!

i'm super happy with metcon 7s for a gym shoe, they are extremely comfortable and solidly built. they also look much better than the metcon 6, which were ugly af.
