Two hashtags with the n-word are already appearing in Gettr’s trending topics, and they link to a slew of anti-Semitic slurs and racist comments targeting Black people...

Was watching the new Channel 5 Q episode and it finally struck me how much all these former Trump circle dickholes are (fittingly) like C-list reality stars in their perpetual grift. Just has-beens and hacks that'll take a paycheck from any convention or appearance they can manage. Opening a car wash? Call Mike Flynn. Need a keynote for your shitty Holiday Inn get together? Call George Papadapolous. Get Sidney Powell to run the karaoke machine and photo booth while the pillow guy gets the party hyped.

They're scrambling to get their tell-all books out as well, which we'll see in the thrift shops for decades to come

I live in the DC area and it’s huge fun seeing piles of unsold right wing books in stores. A few years back there were piles of unsold *signed* copies of Newt Gingrich’s latest book at an area Barnes and Noble.

googling 8th Army was indeed a mess. Historic hits re Britain and Australia, current hits for Korea, but also a couple for the US Army that didn't seem particularly weird. Still, can't figure it out.

it really does remind me of speaking in tongues, though. every week, someone would lose it and start going "SHY-lye-lye, don-DON-SHY-ly-ly, Jesus shy-lo-FIE, lo. FIE-loe, Jesus, shun-SHONE-fa-lye". then they'd finally stop and there would be this low-murmuring of prayer from all the adults in the room, lots of thanking the lord. then a few seconds later, the same weird fucking old guy, the former pastor there from years earlier, before i started attending, would "interpret" the message for the rest of us. at the top of his lungs he would be like "MY SON HAS BEEN SENT TO THE EARTH TO CLEANSE THE WORLD OF EVIL. I SAYETH TO YOU, ALL OF THE WORLD WILL BE JUDGED, AND MY SON WILL BE THE JUDGE, I SAY UNTO YOU, AMEN, AMEN". and then the adults would all keep praying all around the room and say "amen". what a message the holy spirit had delivered, what a moment. and this would play out every week! a different message, but always an obviously fake tongue, and always with the old preacher translating to some complete bullshit lol

but my point is, i guess, if you're an adult in that group (the 8th army group, white pentecostals in the woods, Q is joe biden, the fellas), you better say "amen" after the really big dumb thing happens. you don't let the old preacher perform a goddamn MIRACLE in your midst and not say "amen" afterward, no matter how fucking transparently pathetically staged that miracle was, a miracle on cue. if don't say Amen you don't come back the next week. i guess for those school board people and the 8th army and the holy spirit, it's the same. all the adults around you cheer, so you cheer too

We were docked near a weird decrepit tugboat for two days last week in upstate-ish NY. It was flying several Gadsden variations and a pennant that said “8th sea.” I was curious but now I’m REALLY curious.

I'm guessing none us actually want to know the real answer, it's sure to be horrifying, but I am, of course, morbidly curious as well.
