“2 On” (my favourite then), “Habits (Stay High)”, “Do It Again” (killer jam, might be my favourite now), “Club Goin' Up on a Tuesday”, hell, “Chandelier” (of which this, by a contestant in the Dutch Voice, remains my favourite version)...
- or is that every year and did it just hit home harder this time around?

This list is actually better than I was expecting as I don't remember 2014 being that strong. Went with Tough Love which is still my favourite Jessie Ware moment. Boom Clap, Seasons, Delorean Dynamite, The Charade, Do It Again, West Coast and Archie, Marry Me are all up there too.

I hope this doesn't end up being the case, but I think the "acclaimed" is the only 2010s music anyone will ultimately remember. Like fall 2014 was "12 Bricks," "No Flex Zone," "Truffle Butter," "Try Me," "Coco" -- I remember a larger number of fun radio hits than usual. But not enough Pitchfork or Rolling Stone writers voted for these in their decade lists, so I guess these songs will just get lost?

but yeah youre right, these acclaimedmusic lists tend to overplay the indie rock stuff, which I think happens because of all the alt-rock mags and the British music press that boost it. "try me" crushes most of the songs on this list

'2 On' just over 'West Coast' for me. Seems to be a higher % of songs I don't recognise in this list compared to the previous few but then I don't remember 2014 as being a particularly strong year.

think this is the year I first joined in with ILM polls and there is a lot I'm very familiar with and plenty I still love, might be my favourite so far in these polls.
