yeah it's not bad or anything it's just like... they surely should be able to do so much better?

it feels like they're developing a lot of other underdeveloped parts of 'playing the part' and maybe dont have total command yet. hopefully will get to that zone though

Not feeling as blown away with this EP as I was with Heaven to a Tortured Mind, which ended up being my favourite album of last year. Hopefully it'll grow on me, but I don't really see it happening for a little while.

Yeah I like this a fair bit. Can't lie I've been a little bit disappointed with each successive release since Hands of Love was my fav album of 2018. But I'm hoping for great things.

It will be produced by Noah Goldstein, who has worked with the likes of Frank Ocean, Rosalía, Drake and Rihanna, and mixed by GRAMMY award-winning Brit Alan Moulder — who has worked on albums for the likes of Moby, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Gary Numan, and a number of iconic rock bands.
(A very random pick-n-mix of Moulder artists there)

Very much liking the new one so far.

Same. imo an improvement on The Asymptotical World. My favourites so far are The first two songs, In Spite of War and Purified by the Fire.
I do sort of miss the, ahem, more open-ended (trying not to say noisy/formless) material they used to run far with. SITHOL is still probably my favourite album of the last five years and it still feels like the best showcase for all of their strengths, but I've really enjoyed their popstar poses ever since. They do it really good and the music often matches.

Yeah the newest one is incredibly good. This is kind of what I wished Heaven to a Tortured Mind would have been.
