i doubt it. all the early numbers about the past new variants have been revised down after better data comes around. also, the same report which said one dose is 33.5% effective against delta said it was only 50% effective against alpha ("uk variant") which i don't think can possible be true given how effective vaccination using first doses first has been in the uk

sure. the canadian gov't also "apologized" years ago. the truth has been out there for years; "known secret", etc. while that was needed, apologizing really means very little. there needs to be a lot more repercussion and a lot of change

In my experience working with First Nations and Inuktitut for almost two years now, apologizing means a lot.

I would imagine 95% of ILX boarders are very well aware of the TRC's calls to action, findings and shortcomings.

it is #58 out of 94 on the list. in that list, it is a small portion of the things that need to be done by all organizations that had a hand, it doesn't matter how many, in these kinds of residential schools.

I haven't come across a single FNIM is saying only apologizing is nearly enough. But for a lot of them, it is an essential part of the healing.
