Does anybody know what kind of building it was?

Pentagrams drawn in blood (or Pantone 1665 :-)) on the walls in #16 - one in centre and one above steps.
Slightly right of centre it might possibly say BS on the wall.

i knew Belle and Sebastian fans would be behind this act of pure evil.

where did these pictures originate, though? w/out the lurking figures, they're still pretty cool

seriously, I want to know where that is so I can film a digital horror film there and scare those pussies on the new "horror films are scary" thread shitless.

WELL I NEVER!!

I don't like it when people on other internet boards talk about ILX

It makes me think of Grange Hill, and the opaquely-known world of the other school down the road, that was sometumes involved in storylines.

It is totally a guy doing robotic dancing in picture 5.

See now, this would have been a much better and scarier (if more expensive) prank if someone loaded up their digital camera with these altered pics and really did leave it lying out near a hiking trail where someone would find it. Y'know.. smear a little blood and zombie dust on it first of course... and then watch the papers.

Kim (Kim), Sunday, 22 August 2004 14:26 (nineteen years ago) link

It would have been even better and scarier than that if they loaded it up with unaltered pictures, of actual zombies and murders. This is probably impractical, though.

Alba (Alba), Sunday, 22 August 2004 14:28 (nineteen years ago) link

Impractical yeah, zombies are notoriously photogenic and never appear at all scary in pictures.

Kim (Kim), Sunday, 22 August 2004 14:32 (nineteen years ago) link

Zombies as a rule aren't very pratical, being the living dead ain't no fun.

Poor zombies. Their plight is almost reminiscent of Britney's "Lucky" narrative... coincidence?

They remind me of the Gary Hill video installation where he's got video cameras attached to his feet and hands and walking around a bombed out building like that one.

We lost our digital camera in Pompeii and nobody ever posted the pictures out of it... Good thing really now that I think of it.
