"one more time (short radio edit)" is lame also. you need the full song in all its resplendent glory.

and a radio edit of "revolution 909" isn't fair either. that tune deserves to be extended for all eternity. they should have made a 74-minute version for the CD.

yeah one more time isn't even long enough as it is!

and three tunes from the hollow, empty pit of emptiness that was 'human after all' is three too many! why don't they "radio edit" all of those down to be 30 seconds long apiece? they should have replaced "robot rock" with "rock'n'roll," "technologic" with "high fidelity," and "human after all" with "voyager"

haha i like that they had the good sense to put them all in a row, though--people who buy this can just program their CD players to jump straight from track 9 to track 13

How the fuck is Digital Love not on this?

i wonder what the logo is going to look like on the cover.

love the "chord memory" and "mothership" remixes, but they seem a bit out of place on a greatest hits. would've been good to get more on a bonus disc I reckon.

what was their debut single, "the new wave" or something? that should be on!

Just plain red :(

Surely they could have come up with some decent rarities to fill up one side of a Dualdisc, like Massive Attack's compilation on the same label. Well, at least, like Massive Attack's compilation in theory- I have major, major issues* with Massive Attack Collected but this is neither the time nor the place.

*WHERE IS "WIRE" YOU BASTARDS?!

"Oh Yeah" is a favorite of mine, and it's very un-Daft Punk. Would have been a fun choice for newbies. I've been seeing it on a lot of platlists lately. Kinda rad, but ... why don't San Francisco DJs play it?! Augh.

:)

If only Daft Punk had followed their ghetto tech influences!

Michael, I am so with you right now.

DJ T-Bang & MC Christo-Homie. Just a thought.

p.s. Geeta, I would love that 74 minute mix you mentioned. If only.

thirteen years pass...

A Sunday night drunk attempt at a best of:

Robot Rock
Human After All
High Life
Around The World
One More Time
Digital Love
Doin' It Right
Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger
The Brainwasher
Technologic
Aerodynamic
Make Love
Da Funk
Giorgio By Moroder
The Game of Love
Something About Us
Within.

Needs to lose about two minutes to fit on a CD-R. Should probably find space for "Revolution 909".
