ILM Ballot Polls for 2020 and beyond -- the ordering, timing, "I would have voted if I'd known about it," etc

Gearing up to do a Loudon Wainwright III poll over the summer if people are interested, if that works.

so throwing some ideas for polls around that aren't currently taken, is there immediate interest in any of these:
Destroyer?
Sufjan Stevens?
Afghan Whigs (& other Greg Dulli projects)?
Taylor Swift?
The Knife & side projects?
Roisin Murphy/Moloko?
Maxwell?

Kanye is one that should happen someday but i guess now's probably not a great time when he's at a career nadir and everyone's sick of his shit

i would really love to see the 2010s poll happen this year but that'd be too much for me alone at the moment

maybe it'd be a good idea to make a new thread, and have everyone register to run stuff again, with people giving a planned timeframe they'd hope to be able to run their poll. obviously giving people who are on the current list rights & priority if they're still around but clearing out people who are inactive these days? or just go through the current top of the list somewhat and get people to say when they're able to next run something idk

My dads been in hospital for 10 weeks and when he comes home he will need a full care package as he's not able to walk anymore, so unfortunately I wont have the time for the forseeable unless I can get a co-runner who would do all the heavy lifting for the poll, which would be a bit unfair on them, but if anyones up for it, let me know.

yeah there hasn't been any real order for years bc a lot of the polls at the top of the waiting list were by people who aren't active here anymore or now too busy to run anything, you can just run it whenever you feel like it & there's not something else on

there are often long periods when no one's running anything so if you see an opportunity, just go for it

Low, NIN and Aphex are polls I'm very excited about. Hope to see the latter two soon at some point soon.

I would also be excited about the Aphex poll ... tho it doesn't seem Stevie D has responded since it was last bumped.
