I know it's wrong but I've been so tempted to play the autism card just to see if/how it changes anything or if it's too late for that or if it would just make everything worse again as usual. this is me exercising restraint

(Not on topic, but a gentle aside to Left: Try for once posting like a human addressing fellow humans instead of a lecturer addressing the benighted. You could even try venturing onto ground where you don't feel yourself to be 100% righteous from time to time. It would be refreshing to hear your voice in some other register.)

Ilx punishes newcomers for stuff it considers acceptable and even benign eccentricities in longer serving posters, news at 11.

Tl;dr poster Left is boring and repetitive but is not to my mind more offensive than posts like the above.

Left, that's precisely the kind of human, contextual detail that will encourage posters (most if not all, I hasten to add) to engage with you as a person rather than as a polemical See 'n Say.
