happy today b/c my thesis supervisor (i do not see her often - we had a mtg today) was v encouraging and dudes i am now officially in editing zone not ohgodoverwhelmed writing zone and the end the end it is in sight then i went and auditioned for a choir just to wrack my nerves y'know why the hell not :/ but now listening to hawkwind

kid and i built a 1048 piece lego batmobile kid had his friend over -- we made sushi 3 games of pokemon an hour of marco polo in the pool finished isherwood's 'down there on a visit' got home in no traffic just ordered pizza

i didn't get into teh choir but that is okay - it is not b/c i am a terrible singer (though i am not astounding or anything) but b/c i am a terrible sight reader! it is serious choir. they asked me to audition again in jan if i want. anyway, i really should finally learn to sight read for singing purposes, something i've been meaning to do for like a year. so i'm gonna do that why not
