ILM Ballot Polls for 2020 and beyond -- the ordering, timing, "I would have voted if I'd known about it," etc

I hate doing fancy images to go with the rollout, so I was putting out Led Zeppelin results within an hour of getting out of bed after the deadline passed. Still took tracks ballots (well, one ballot) while I was rolling out album results.

i have usually done a roll out when i got up on my day off, so around 9 - 10 AM ish on the West Coast. depending on how many you may want to roll out, i usually roll out about 20 - 25 per day and one result every 20 minutes or so. also have run things during the week but have some spill over until Saturday and even my Steely Dan one ran into a Sunday.

think i have been closer to 15 per day. so say, 15 per day and spread out over around 20 minutes each then it would be a five hour rollout. perfect, imo.

alternative: five per day! or three! if i ever do a poll again that's where i'll be. i hate "missing" the rollout convo cause of work or w/e, but also you'll never please everybody, so whatever feels good to *you* is the best standard - you're putting in all the work after all!

Good input for me too--DOOM poll upcoming is my first. I was thinking to wait til right after the Rundgren rollout is done if that's alright.

yes no order, just say when you are ready so we only have one poll going at a time. a bunch of people signed up but haven't followed through.

i was going to open the Shoegaze albums and EPs poll but the last poll went a bit long and my window closed. i might do Super Furry Animals this summer but unsure if there is enough interest? regardless of that i do have something else up my sleeve and will move forward with that next week, i think it will be a lot of fun.

i think the poll will be popular enough, i'm just worried about how many will vote. anyways, i will run in exactly like the Boo Radleys poll that i ran. i would really love to see the 2010s poll happen this year but that'd be too much for me alone at the moment

maybe it'd be a good idea to make a new thread, and have everyone register to run stuff again, with people giving a planned timeframe they'd hope to be able to run their poll. obviously giving people who are on the current list rights & priority if they're still around but clearing out people who are inactive these days? or just go through the current top of the list somewhat and get people to say when they're able to next run something idk
