Dr. Morbius (Bill Weber) RIP

Just heard a shoutout to Morbs on WFMU Give the Drummer radio (one of my favourite and daily stations now). DJ Stork played a Noel Coward tune "in honour of Bill Weber". Im sure they've done loads of these but I was glad to catch one live.

I ate pancakes for a late, leisurely Sunday breakfast. Thought of Morbs as I did.

Almost forgot about that

I never had a chance to do much drinking with him - he was into the Polish beer?

I haven't a clue what his fave booze was. It's just that a crate of Tyskie cans landed on my doorstep yesterday so that's what I'll be raising to his memory!

Colin Powell's RIPs are not the same without his take.

Think about him all the time, not sure what to say about it. Sometimes think about how to explain to outsiders: “you see my dead gay friend from the internet. Some of my best friends are gay internet friends. Which is exactly what a homophobe might say, but…”

WFMU DJ Pseu Braun just marked the anniversary on a mic break a few minutes ago. She really misses the big lug.

Anyway, all I know that I stand by what I wrote about him last year on Facepalm, whatever that was, and that The Paul Lynde Halloween Special won’t be the same without him.
