oh, you have no idea, seriously! in the last week alone i've picked online fights with aphex twin, beeple (who seemed confused by my anger), horde of classist #crypto teens, and some #NFT "climate advisor" who is actually a "#crypto advocate" trying to "build a tool to measure something related to the Paris Accords"

it's getting ugly out there.

alright, i absolutely tore into them on the whatchu playing thread, probably scared some sense into a few of them. i just hate when people act like they're gamers and they clearly aren't. could fix that by just voting in this poll, but whatever i guess

honestly after this past year tho i don't hold it against anyone if they couldn't get it together, i could barely get it together to post enough to keep this poll running!

one of these days i'll play a single game in the year it was released and be able to contribute

i still think it would be cool to take a year off (like 2021, for next year) and do some polls of older eras where there are many more games that we all know. then, we could come back to coint and plick in 2023 to cover 2021 games, with a bit more of a gap built in. maybe that's weird

waiting until march is tbh already pretty generous in giving people time to catch up

i sorta wish we had year-long threads for people to post about games that just came out, instead of sprinkling them into every other thread where people are also talking about games from 3 years ago

the rest of you, though. if there were justice in this world, you'd have to game your way back into being a gamer, through some sort of tournament. as it is, i suppose some of these so-called "gamers" will probably just go on about their lives as if nothing weird had happened at all, if past is prologue
