Supposed to be 60 in a few days! Part of the thrill of March is the variation in temps bc it makes the good days feel extra extra extra good

It's true – the current forecast says we'll be hitting 7°C on Tuesday and 11°C on Wednesday, which feels like a small miracle right now. Too bad we'll still be stuck at sub zero temperatures this weekend, as I'm supposed to go for a physically distanced walk with some friends.

that sounds lovely! i took off my hat outside and only wore one pair of stretchy knit gloves. totally sublime to feel the air on my skin again. i actually felt the warmth of the sun yesterday and saw some lil crocuses peeking through the ground on campus today.

Supposed to hit the mid-60s on Saturday, then a inch or two of snow on Monday. Taking advantage of fake Spring in the meantime though.

It went back to the 30s here :-/

literally below 40 the rest of this week now. first rollercoaster plunge of spring. i hope we have like 5 instead of 7 before the lilacs bloom, when spring is officially moving into summer afaic.

Yeah it snowed today. I don’t care though because the trajectory is POSITIVE and UPWARD compared to the fluctuations of, say, November when things go from bad to worst for the following 4 months.

It may suck today or even tomorrow and the next day but overall it’s getting better. That’s inevitable and I’m here for it!!

The excitement of March is dampened a little by the prospects of a snowstorm getting prepared to dump up to a foot of snow on us tomorrow. :/

Also the part of the forecast that pointed out additional systems on the way that may likely mean March alone exceeds our snow totals for all of the rest of winter.

Fret if you must — I will deal with snow when it happens but the trajectory is inevitable. It will gradually get better and no snow dumps can stop it.

Not fretting, I'll believe it when I see (and shovel) it, just admitting that it dampened my excitement somewhat.

I’m in Washington where we have had two-tenths of an inch this winter, forward your snow to us!
