It's okay, has some decent moments. I'm trying to think of a genuinely amazing remix album in this vein (remixes of a band/album rather than remixes by a band), but having trouble. I guess I like Telegram by Bjork quite a lot.

oh yeah i thought about those, but the ones i had (early 2000s) had a lot of Tiesto-style trancey guff IIRC

The one I had had a pretty great lineup of remixers: Underworld, Dave Clarke, Portishead, DJ Shadow, Ulrich Schnauss, Kruder & Dorfmeister, Tenaglia, Kevorkian et al
