But my bf and his friends podcast? It has a FB group and the members LOVE to swear at each other a lot, its sort of the aussie schtick (loads of "gimme a cake you cunt" and so on), and apparently lately loads of posts have been going into the censor bitbucket.

Friend of mine got a post from years ago removed which was just an Islamic State map with their projected territory - he'd posted it because it included Portugal and Spain, with the comment "I think those two were included for better football results?".

Just got a notification that Warner Bros. has released their claim on a live video I took in 2018 at the last local monthly Soul Night of people dancing to "Land of 1000 Dances".
I forgot I even shot it.

So the morning after a whistleblower releases a trove of documents that reaffirm that Facebook is evil, the site and its other sites all go down?

I have definitely had the thought today "would I really miss these sites if they just never came back online?" And the answer is no for the most part. It would be nice to keep instagram just because I've been using it as a kind of musical diary of my playing, and messenger is sort of helpful for keeping track of people I don't otherwise have in my contacts, but I could remedy that by just getting their phone numbers or emails.

what a horrible day for purveyors of aspirational bougie content!
I might go an entire day without thinking about whether I need washable rugs or $100 linen sheets!

Looks like Twitter is having problems now too. I have been unable to see responses to any tweets and lots of similar complaints on down detector. Maybe all social media will go away today!
