That video was so distressing to me. I was with it at first, thinking, "weird that she's doing it directly on the counter, but that looks like just a giant pile of... oh wait, no, god no".

it's pretty clearly not only fake but intended to engineer that response
which brings up the question: are posed cursed images less or more cursed?

There's this whole subset of images which are unquestionably cursed but which just feature uncanny + unpeopled spaces (I've taken to thinking of them as 'dispatches from nopespace'). I hadn't really thought of them as fitting the purview of this thread so I've never posted any of them here but reading through mark's criteria in the first post maybe they do. I have my own subset of rules (no moldering + abandoned ruins, nothing overtly staged + creepy, absolutely positively no creatures alive or dead allowed, etc.)
