hard to say...the bure/linden/kirk team was very easy to love when I was a kid, the sedins/luongo era came with a bit more angst (and some incredible moments). Canucks always seem to have one or two transcendent players, and eventual heartbreak of course.

Oh, definitely, despite being a Flyers fan I'm not pining for the 80s-90s glory days of fighting, especially when so many of the heavyweights have had concussion/mental health issues later in life. I do find it amusing/amazing that the league let insane shit like this happen.

I did have more respect for a straight brawler like a Rob Ray than a little weasel like Havlat who would do sneaky stick (and skate) work and often get away with it.
