I’ve never, ever been a fan of poetry like this.

Poems for ceremonial occasions are a genre of their own and I thought her poem was a fine example of that genre. The very fact that she understood what her task was speaks very well of her command of her craft as a poet; few young poets can speak in a ceremonial voice and considering the style in which she works, she did a very artful job of bending that style to meet the needs of the occasion.

xpost - I mean, fair, but, unfortunately, as recently as two weeks ago, the "Q stuff" was inextricably and dangerously tied to politics, so it's kinda hard to avoid. I think right now there's just a joy in watching some absolutely terrifying and dangerous people lose their shit and identity.
