There is just some really good guitar instructional videos out there. There was one Italian jazz one I found that had a thing on just not moving position or hand and working on intervals right where you are at that kind of opened up some things about the instrument for me.
This one is entertaining. Playing these chords on a guitar are a bitch, but I was messing around doing some jamming with a drum machine having the bass line play the root and playing off it to get this sound.
Hendrix uses this a bunch but he plays it as a arpeggio lick doing that slide up to get the 9.

Yeah that's probably not super high on the degree of difficulty scale but very nicely played

He has a lovely record out right now, does not seem to have caught fire yet (<1000 play counts on spotify). He's only in his early 20s though and I have a feeling he will become a mainstay of the whole Americana/Bluegrass circuit if he sticks it out.

Def gonna watch that later. I've spent a couple years now learning bluegrass flatpicking and I've been thinking I'd like to add country picking to my skillset.

i didn't realize this thread was on IMM; wish i would've posted the video on ILM. because it's just as interesting to non-players, i think, and was a blast to watch even for somebody not trying to master the history of 20th cen. electric guitar
