Wait, I was charged $750 for my now famous 'dreaming with the angels' playlists? Please advise. Thx.

This playlist is a new years resolution project to force myself to research/discover new artists and music.

If anyone knows a way to get rich by organizing an essentially anonymous ambient playlist that gives Windy and Carl a handful of streams on Spotify, let me know!!!

i saw windy & carl in ithaca back in 2008-ish! i almost fell asleep, sitting with my back leaning against a cozy vertical beam in a dark, comfy upstairs/attic setting. it was amazing!

on the monetization issue, though, i do think it's a good idea to make getting rich the focus of the playlist. i've been dabbling in this area of life for a few years now, and i think that the key has to do with "triangles". i pay up the triangle, to the person that i got the playlist from. let's say that costs me 1x. now i turn around and sell it to TWO people that i know - obtaining 2x in return and doubling my investment overnight while maximizing the playlist impressions, reach, and buzz. there are some theoretical questions about what happens when the bottom of the "triangle" is reached, but i believe that exponential growth always finds a way

Is Windy a jaunty nickname or a reference to, y'know, something rather more embarrassing? If it's the latter, does Carl mind? I suppose if you're making money from triangle drones, you'll put up with anything.

Hello All,

Sleep Capsules is part of a personal New Year's resolution to force myself to discover new music by artists both familiar and unfamiliar. This playlist reflects my ambient listening in any given week.

The my guidelines for the playlist are:

-The songs should be relatively short
-They should be able to straddle the line between active and passive listening
-There should be variety of music, and not just one very specific microgenre or era of ambient music
-There should be between 35-40 songs total
-Ten songs should be removed every weekend and replaced with ten new songs
-Songs are not added and removed in a strictly chronological order(if I like a song it can stick around for awhile)
-An updated playlist should be published at the beginning of each week.

I am interested to see what musical discoveries will turn up over the course of the next year.
