Is there some reason why the EOY playlists are always on Spotify and not Youtube, even though Youtube usually has every nominated track available, and it doesn't require creating an user account either?

In some years there has been a Youtube playlist as well as a Spotify - it's a lot of work to do even one playlist so it kind of only happens if someone volunteers. (volunteers welcome)

Why Spotify in the first place? has come up before (lex always complained iirc), there was never a clear consensus for another option and it happens to be what the people running the polls have tended to use.
