lol I think I recently checked whether Earth Trax had released any more tunes and didn’t even notice that LP2 was something different to LP1...

both LP1 and LP2 are really good. I think I prefer LP2, but that may just be recency bias. house music built for home listening is kind of what I needed this year. I didn't realize until much later that Earth Trax was Bartosz Kruczyński even though I bought and quite liked the Baltic Beat albums.

I got excited about this based on the title, but was a bit disappointed to learn that it mostly has fairly well-known artists and tracks... Though I guess it's intended to be more of a primer to this sound than a collection of rarities?

It's good but, after a couple of listens, not as good as I'd built it up in my head to be based on the name and description

But I had basically built it up to be the best album of all time and I will almost certainly be voting for it
