Does it actually fully register a card number before using it for the first time. Presumably checks there's a valid card which might be the same thing or may not be.

Was about to cancel on the llast day of Prime and realised that some things I hhad ordered hadn't been dispatched. Wondered if that would effect things assumed it would now it's too late. Was hungover at the time.

just catching up on season 3, god knows why I bailed out on it a few years back because (especially before hologram Miller turns up!) it is an absolute trip. And now I'm just a couple of eps from diving into season 4.

Burn Gorman character trying to act tough cowboy with Amos. Some day I think you and I are going to end up bloody he says with all the menace of Tucker Jenkins in High Noon or some posh acting school kid playing a thug in The Bill. lol that would be a tragic mismatch. But season 4 is very addictive viewing as well so far.

his weaselly shitheel of a character does have some interesting levels of murderous menace tbf - a worthy baddie in a series where most of the fun is in enjoying watching the wrong uns.

I think the thing about the series that makes it interestingly cohesive is that the books really did characterize role playing game style. in some ways, Marco is like Amos in that he has no conscientious objection to killing, but his moral compass is nearly 180 degrees from Amos. Amos would kill a single person with no remorse when it protects the few good or reasonable people, but Marco has no problem killing millions for a cause

I think in the books when they have them they tend to be non-piercing plastic bullets?

Calstars, it's an ensemble piece. There's at least a dozen characters that have some depth, the recurring ones still being fleshed out in S5. It's worth the ride, and vs any sci-fi since Farscape, its a relative masterpiece.

I feel like they stumbled on having a VEEP in space dynamic and wished someone actually did VEEP in space but apparently the recent Iannucci space comedy is terrible.
It's bizarre for a series to have their main protagonists be so void of charisma, though.
