Davante Parker ejected for throwing punches (these were legit punches, no arguing that).
Mack Hollins (WR) as well, so that puts Miami down two WRs

another Bengal ejected (#36)
5 ejections in this game, one brawl. this is ugly and both teams will get fined.

Allen of the Bengals hurt.
He is their QB
He was a practice squadder.
they're bringing Finley on now.
man it really sucks the luck they've had this year
― Lover of Nixon (or LON for short) (Neanderthal), Sunday, 6 December 2020 21:16 (three years ago) link
lol the Jets were playing single coverage on the guy who caught a 50 yard TD with 11 second left in the game. Like, no help within 20 yards of the receiver. Nobody playing "centerfield" near the end zone just in case the Raiders are trying to win the game.
― a certain derecho (brownie), Sunday, 6 December 2020 22:17 (three years ago) link
Just checked the replay. The Jets had 8 guys near the line of scrimmage when the ball was thrown. There were 11 seconds left and the Raiders needed a TD to win. Fascinating.

The Eagles are very....not good

Xpost lol maybe they realized they really wanted the #1 pick
"ABORT! ABORT!"
I’m not a conspiracy theorist, but watch this and tell me the #Jets weren’t trying to lose this game.Cover 0, with 13 seconds left & you spy Derek Carr like he’s Mike Vick in his prime?? pic.twitter.com/FR53RF1sxU— Emmanuel Acho (@EmmanuelAcho) December 6, 2020

Why would they get that close to winning and tank tho?
― Lover of Nixon (or LON for short) (Neanderthal), Sunday, 6 December 2020 22:24 (three years ago) link
bizarre but the cherry on top was using one of the DB's to spy on Carr
― a certain derecho (brownie), Sunday, 6 December 2020 22:30 (three years ago) link
cos those 46 yard scampers for TDs are what he's known for!
― Lover of Nixon (or LON for short) (Neanderthal), Sunday, 6 December 2020 22:30 (three years ago) link
so you're 9-3. we're 8-4.
where are the four horsemen

I love a good “they lost on purpose” conspiracy theory as much as anyone but have you seen the Jets play calling this year

lol at the ease of that Packers TD. missed delay call but w/e
basically if Philly's front 4 don't get to you, you can pretty much find anything over the middle of the field
― Lover of Nixon (or LON for short) (Neanderthal), Sunday, 6 December 2020 22:33 (three years ago) link
it feels like Packers receivers are drifting across the middle and Philly's zone coverage is shitty enough to where nobody picks up the guy and he sits out there wide open
Wentz is also playing like a rookie
― Lover of Nixon (or LON for short) (Neanderthal), Sunday, 6 December 2020 22:35 (three years ago) link
weird, i was told that wentz would be much better now that he's taken accountability
― mookieproof, Sunday, 6 December 2020 22:46 (three years ago) link
He ranks first in interceptions (15) and sacks (46)
guess how many he's had in the first half. Hint: it's not zero.

Hilarious that Williams used to stick Jabril Peppers 40 yards deep every play when he was DC in Cleveland. WHERE’S YOUR PEPPERS NOW WILLIAMS.

I mean once he broke free initially this was the best outcome tbh
I'm all in on hurts. no reason to go back to wentz, except maybe for sneaks on 3rd and 4th and short because he's still a god at that
― k3vin k., Monday, 7 December 2020 00:59 (three years ago) link
Yeah I’m not sure who you want in 2021 but clearly you gotta go with Hurts right now
― frogbs, Monday, 7 December 2020 01:24 (three years ago) link
yeah, the dynamic of the game changed a bit when he came in
― Lover of Nixon (or LON for short) (Neanderthal), Monday, 7 December 2020 01:28 (three years ago) link
if Hurts is indeed a starting-level talent you'll probably find out in the next 3 games. or you can start Wentz and lose all 3
― frogbs, Monday, 7 December 2020 04:19 (three years ago) link
you can start Wentz and lose all 3
and it's astonishing how many head coaches would view this as "the safe option"

speaking of I'm convinced something fishy is going on with the way the Jets defended that final play, apparently no team in NFL history has called a defense anywhere close to that in a similar situation
― frogbs, Monday, 7 December 2020 05:30 (three years ago) link
why would you go through the trouble of being competitive and taking the lead with 11 seconds left only to go "lol jk", though? Like, if you wanna tank without plausible deniability....you pretty much can in the NFL.
― Lover of Nixon (or LON for short) (Neanderthal), Monday, 7 December 2020 05:39 (three years ago) link
unless it was "oh shit, Jacksonville blew their game"
