the Raiders aren't a contender but how you perform under duress says a lot about one's team.

Lover of Nixon (or LON for short) (Neanderthal), Tuesday, 1 December 2020 21:55 (three years ago) link

I just feel like they shouldn't have been under duress in the first place. Did you see the Raiders yesterday?

beard papa, Tuesday, 1 December 2020 21:57 (three years ago) link

The Steelers also seem like the same team they are every year, just that everybody else is less good than they have been.

beard papa, Tuesday, 1 December 2020 21:57 (three years ago) link

Great teams occasionally trailing lesser teams on the road is a thing that happens, and AFC West matches are often competitive. Raiders have also beaten the Chiefs once this year and the Saints, they're just woefully inconsistent is all.

frogbs, Wednesday, 2 December 2020 22:03 (three years ago) link

love too play in the red zone

mookieproof, Wednesday, 2 December 2020 22:09 (three years ago) link

Ok so in that situation how long can the Steelers remain in the pile so the clock runs? If they’d taken a few seconds more to get up they wouldn’t have been able to run a play (which should’ve been an easy touchdown, they got the exact look they wanted)

frogbs, Wednesday, 2 December 2020 22:38 (three years ago) link

how are the Steelers only beating the Ravens JV squad by only 5

Lover of Nixon (or LON for short) (Neanderthal), Wednesday, 2 December 2020 22:39 (three years ago) link

and they have zero offensive touchdowns?

Lover of Nixon (or LON for short) (Neanderthal), Wednesday, 2 December 2020 22:40 (three years ago) link

Their offense is cruising until they reach the 5 yard line

frogbs, Wednesday, 2 December 2020 23:07 (three years ago) link

who the fuck is playing quarterback for the Ravens right now

frogbs, Wednesday, 2 December 2020 23:20 (three years ago) link

I know this is not a novel observation but schefter is such a fucking shill

k3vin k., Thursday, 3 December 2020 21:57 (three years ago) link

Can't fire the McCaskey family and that is and will continue to be why the Bears are so f'n weirdly run as a team. That history, they SHOULD be the Packers or the Steelers but they are not as sadly Papa's family just does not have the touch running the club.

earlnash, Saturday, 5 December 2020 01:32 (three years ago) link

at least they're not the lions

mookieproof, Saturday, 5 December 2020 01:50 (three years ago) link

last time my Fins were 8-4 was 2003, and I worked at Best Buy.

a win today and they're 8-4.

would be hilarious if the Jets beat the Raiders today.

Browns-Titans is really the only interesting matchup despite Rams-Cards and Bills-49ers really.

Xavien Howard with his 8th pick

Lover of Nixon (or LON for short) (Neanderthal), Sunday, 6 December 2020 18:23 (three years ago) link

Damn this browns game is getting out of control.

a certain derecho (brownie), Sunday, 6 December 2020 19:23 (three years ago) link

stunned at how badly you're punking them

Lover of Nixon (or LON for short) (Neanderthal), Sunday, 6 December 2020 19:36 (three years ago) link

complete joke officiating in the Miami-Browns game. shoving match out of bounds between a Bengal and a Dolphin. both Boyd and Howard ejected. Neither should have been ejected. they weren't punches, they were shoves.

it helped us temporarily but no Howard is gonna hurt. lucky for us, no Boyd for them.

Lover of Nixon (or LON for short) (Neanderthal), Sunday, 6 December 2020 19:37 (three years ago) link

Tua, sick drive

Lover of Nixon (or LON for short) (Neanderthal), Sunday, 6 December 2020 20:01 (three years ago) link

Hill actually playing kinda like a QB today for the SAints

Lover of Nixon (or LON for short) (Neanderthal), Sunday, 6 December 2020 20:01 (three years ago) link

Jet lead was a mirage I see.

Lover of Nixon (or LON for short) (Neanderthal), Sunday, 6 December 2020 20:02 (three years ago) link

Jax winning? lol

Lover of Nixon (or LON for short) (Neanderthal), Sunday, 6 December 2020 20:04 (three years ago) link

Thomas on the Bengals apparently doesn't know the kick-catch interference rule, as he's hit Jakeem Grant twice before the ball came in. the latter just provoked both benches emptying and sparked a fight. MLB style.

Lover of Nixon (or LON for short) (Neanderthal), Sunday, 6 December 2020 20:54 (three years ago) link

they still haven't resumed play

Lover of Nixon (or LON for short) (Neanderthal), Sunday, 6 December 2020 20:55 (three years ago) link

assuming mass ejections, possible suspensions after. this fucking sucks.

Lover of Nixon (or LON for short) (Neanderthal), Sunday, 6 December 2020 20:55 (three years ago) link

Davante Parker ejected for throwing punches (these were legit punches, no arguing that).

Mack Hollins (WR) as well, so that puts Miami down two WRs

Lover of Nixon (or LON for short) (Neanderthal), Sunday, 6 December 2020 20:59 (three years ago) link

another Bengal ejected (#36)

Lover of Nixon (or LON for short) (Neanderthal), Sunday, 6 December 2020 20:59 (three years ago) link

5 ejections in this game, one brawl. this is ugly and both teams will get fined.

Lover of Nixon (or LON for short) (Neanderthal), Sunday, 6 December 2020 21:01 (three years ago) link

Never count out Touchdown Trubisky

frogbs, Sunday, 6 December 2020 21:02 (three years ago) link

or the Jets

Lover of Nixon (or LON for short) (Neanderthal), Sunday, 6 December 2020 21:05 (three years ago) link

love it when Detroit hangs a Lions style loss on another team

frogbs, Sunday, 6 December 2020 21:07 (three years ago) link

xpost nope, nevermind

Lover of Nixon (or LON for short) (Neanderthal), Sunday, 6 December 2020 21:12 (three years ago) link

Allen of the Bengals hurt.

He is their QB

He was a practice squadder.

they're bringing Finley on now.

man it really sucks the luck they've had this year

Lover of Nixon (or LON for short) (Neanderthal), Sunday, 6 December 2020 21:16 (three years ago) link

lol the Jets were playing single coverage on the guy who caught a 50 yard TD with 11 second left in the game. Like, no help within 20 yards of the receiver. Nobody playing "centerfield" near the end zone just in case the Raiders are trying to win the game.

a certain derecho (brownie), Sunday, 6 December 2020 22:17 (three years ago) link

Just checked the replay. The Jets had 8 guys near the line of scrimmage when the ball was thrown. There were 11 seconds left and the Raiders needed a TD to win. Fascinating.

a certain derecho (brownie), Sunday, 6 December 2020 22:20 (three years ago) link

The Eagles are very....not good

Lover of Nixon (or LON for short) (Neanderthal), Sunday, 6 December 2020 22:22 (three years ago) link

Xpost lol maybe they realized they really wanted the #1 pick
